Psychiatric medication management is a personalized approach to treating mental health conditions using carefully selected medications. A provider works closely with each patient to choose the right medication, adjust dosages, and monitor how well it’s working over time. This process helps balance brain chemistry, reduce symptoms, and improve overall functioning. Regular follow-up ensures the treatment remains safe, effective, and tailored to the patient’s needs.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive treatment used for depression, particularly when other therapies haven’t been effective. It works by using gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. This stimulation helps improve communication between brain cells and can restore more normal activity in underactive regions. Over time, TMS may help reduce depressive symptoms and improve overall mood.

IPC is committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients. We take the time to listen to our patients and work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals. You're not a number, nor are you just the prescription.
The TMS and Spravato treatments are for those who are struggling with depression and have tried multiple medications and therapy without relief or improvement. You're not alone, and we specialize in treatment resistant depression with a combination of medical management and interventional care. Our mission is to bring you beyond depression.
The cost of interventional treatment and psychiatry at IPC varies depending on the type of service and your insurance coverage. We are in network with most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare for Spravato and TMS. We will go over your unique circumstance comprehensively prior to your treatment starting. To make our services accessible, we offer sliding scales, payment plans, and savings programs.
During a Spravato® treatment, patients often experience a calm, relaxed feeling shortly after using the nasal spray. Some people notice a “dreamlike” or slightly detached sensation, sometimes described as feeling floaty or observing their thoughts from a distance. These effects can also include mild drowsiness, lightheadedness, or changes in perception, but they are typically temporary and monitored closely by medical staff. Most sensations peak within the first 30–40 minutes and gradually wear off over a couple of hours while you remain safely supervised in the clinic.
Most patients notice a light tapping feeling during TMS treatment, usually where the magnetic coil rests on the scalp. This happens as the magnetic pulses activate nearby nerves and muscles. The experience is generally well tolerated and comfortable for most people. During treatment, you’re free to relax—many patients choose to use their phone, watch TV, talk with staff, or read a book.
No. TMS is very different from electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). TMS uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in depression, while ECT affects the entire brain by inducing a controlled seizure. The treatment experience is also quite different—TMS is non-invasive, does not require sedation, and is performed in an outpatient setting, so you can drive yourself home afterward. ECT, on the other hand, requires anesthesia and is done in a hospital, meaning you’ll need someone to accompany you home after treatment.
